Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry of Israel Metropolitan CME Church ministers to children from infancy to age 11. It is our desire to provide a loving,Christian environment that fosters a knowledge and understanding of God,basic biblical principals and spiritual nurturing and development. We offer a wide range of ministries that the children are able to participate in as they edify Christ.Being a part of a "full-service" church, there is ministry occurring not just on Sundays, but each day of the week as well. The ministries that the children can become a part of includes the following::
- Infant and Toddler Sanctuary Ministries (infancy to age 5)
- Children's Church (ages 6-11)
- Students of the Word Bible Study
- Spirit of David Children Dance Ministry
- Doorkeepers of the House Ministry
- Ministry to the Sick and Shut-in
- Rossie T. Hollis Missionaries
With God as our authority, Christ as our example and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we are excited about what the future holds for this "ministry!!"

This Ministry provides several computers and printers that will teach those in the community how to use the computer and give them skills that will help them obtain gainful employment. For additional information, contact Minister Michael Gray.
Couples Ministry
This Ministry is growing by leaps and bounds, it started with just members of Israel, but we now have couples coming from other denominations and actively participating. We are a Bible based group dealing with life issues in our marriages through the Word of God. We meet once a month at homes, and have retreat twice a year. For additional information, contact Mr.Tyrone Cartwright or Mrs. Shirley Cartwright.
The Young at Heart
This senior community group began in 1970. We open with a brief devotion, which includes song, scripture, and prayer. Sometimes poems and readings are added. We schedule speakers who discuss different topics that pertain to seniors. We have discussions among the members on various topics of interest. Each year we choose a charity to make contributions to. Often time our charitable contributions go to help children’s
outreach organizations. Socially, we enjoy touring sites of the city, using the church to hold luncheons and planning out of the city. We enjoy the fellowship and camaraderie, giving support when needed.
